So you paint it. Sculpt it. Create a physical manifestation of your thoughts, feelings and experiences. Like combat boots marching through rainbows of color. An oversized personal check to Uncle Sam, paid for with your service. The quiet water-colored moment of a soldier’s homecoming with his daughter.

This is the 14th annual art and healing exhibit presented by Tri-C’s Art and Art Therapy departments and Ursuline College’s Art Therapy and Counseling department. The exhibit, “art.speak.heal: Honoring Veteran Stories,” also will include lectures and workshops. The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday... read more.
