Dean of Nursing to serve as a CCNE reviewer

February 17, 2016

Ursuline College is pleased to announce that  Dr. Patricia A. Sharpnack, Dean of the Breen School of Nursing, has been selected to serve as a CCNE Reviewer.

The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) is the nation’s premier accreditation agency for baccalaureate, graduate and residency programs in nursing. The College is a proud recipient of their “highly coveted” seal of approval.

The CCNE serves as an autonomous accrediting agency, contributing to the improvement of the public's health. It also ensures the quality and integrity of baccalaureate, graduate, and residency programs in nursing. CCNE serves the public interest by assessing and identifying programs that engage in effective educational practices. Dean Sharpnack will serve as an on-site evaluator in the CCNE accreditation process.
