Ursuline College Names Jack Newman Board of Trustees Chair
Ursuline College would like to congratulate Jack Newman in his new position as Chair of the Board of Trustees. After joining the board in 1995 Newman has served on and chaired the student services committee.
Newman graduated from Georgetown University in 1966 and received his law degree at Harvard University in 1969. Currently he is a partner at Jones Day law firm in Cleveland where he represents public companies in securities litigation, shareholder actions, and fiduciary and governance actions. Newman resides in Cleveland Heights with his wife Charlotte.
“Jack is a loyal supporter of Ursuline and I look forward to working with him as we move ahead in the continued success of the College,” said Ursuline President Sister Diana Stano, Ph.D.
