Ursuline Signs New Dual Admission Agreement with Tri-C
Ursuline College and Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) have formed a Dual Admission Partnership. High school and college transfer students are eligible and can apply to both to Tri-C and Ursuline to take advantage of this opportunity. Ursuline joins over 10 schools in Northeast Ohio participating in the dual enrollment partnership.
Students who are dually admitted are provided a smooth transition from Tri-C to Ursuline. Students will complete an associate degree at Tri-C and then complete a bachelor’s degree at Ursuline. While at Tri-C, full-time students can take a course at Ursuline during the fall and spring terms at Tri-C tuition rates, with a maximum of four courses over two years. Identification cards are issued to both institutions and students are welcome to use all facilities and attend campus events.
“Over the years, Ursuline has welcomed hundreds of Tri-C graduates who have gone on to earn their four-year degrees. Many of these students have then continued to pursue Master’s degrees here as well. We look forward to implementing the new dual admission partnership, which will make it easier for Tri-C graduates to continue their college education here,” said Ursuline’s Vice President for Academic Affairs, JoAnne Podis, Ph.D.
As a Catholic liberal arts college, focusing on women, Ursuline welcomes students into an academically challenging and values-based environment. Recognized for distinguished programs in nursing, fashion, social work and education, Ursuline offers more than 30 undergraduate and ten graduate degrees in three schools including arts and sciences, nursing, professional and graduate studies.
