February 3, 2015- Pepper Pike, OH – A Recent gift totaling $2.0 million from the Parker Hannifin Foundation has helped Ursuline College successfully complete its fundraising campaign and continue construction of two new major campus buildings: the Center for the Creative and Healing Arts & Sciences and an Athletic Center. In recognition of Parker Hannifin’s outstanding support, Ursuline College is proud to announce the naming of the Parker Hannifin Center for the Creative and Healing Arts & Sciences.
The Cleveland-headquartered global leader in motion and control technologies, Parker Hannifin Corporation has had a long-standing relationship with the College having been supporters of Ursuline since the 1960s. “We are most grateful for the generous support of the Parker Hannifin Foundation and we are indeed honored to have the Parker Hannifin name on our newest academic center. Parker Hannifin is synonymous with excellence in their industry as we are in the higher education of women. Our students will be the main beneficiaries of their generosity,” said Ursuline’s President, Sr. Diana Stano, OSU, Ph.D.
“Parker is very pleased to support the development of Ursuline’s new center for the creative and healing arts and sciences facility,” said Don Washkewicz, Chairman of The Board for Parker Hannifin. “Ursuline College is dedicated to the advancement of healthcare in our community and beyond and we are fortunate to be able to play a part in that journey.”
