Dear Members of the Ursuline College Community,
When the world turns to violence, we can model compassion. When the world turns to war, we can take up prayer. With the Holy Land stained in blood, we can turn to the God of Peace.
Witnessing the devastation in Israel and Gaza, we have members of our Ursuline family who are touched personally by these events. Let us remember during this time how important it is to care for one another.
Remember too, that campus support is available to you, through the understanding of friends and mentors and through our Counseling Services office. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Dr. Anita or Matt Bartuccio for counseling support.
We join Pope Francis in his urgent plea for an end to the violence, and we pray, with the Psalmist, may the Lord bless his people with peace (Ps 29.11).
