Wasmer Gallery Earth Show
August 08, 2010
Ursuline College's Earth Show
featuring art by faculty, alumnae, students and professional artists takes place June 11 - August 8 at the College’s Florence O’Donnell Wasmer Gallery, 2550 Lander Road, Pepper Pike. The opening reception is June 12, 7 - 9 pm.
"The exhibit will focus on paying tribute to our planet and will highlight interpretations of the earth as documented by each artist,” said the show’s Co-Curator and Wasmer Gallery Director Frank Frate. According to Frate, all of the materials featured in the show come from the earth such as raw clay, pigment and metal. “The interpretation of the earth documented by these artists is the focus of the exhibit," said Frate.
Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, 12-5pm and Saturday and Sunday, 1:30-4:30pm. For more information, contact Gallery Director Frank Frate at 440 646 8122 or visit the Wasmer Gallery online
