Ursuline College will host an event: 

Engaging advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) in the transition of young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) into adulthood

Learning outcomes: 

1) Describe the health care needs of adolescents and young adults living with autism spectrum disorder to facilitate transition from pediatric to adult primary health care. 

2) Understand the neurodevelopmental autism spectrum disorders disability 

3) Distinguish the unique role of the advanced practice registered nurse in adult health to facilitate effective 

health care transitions for adolescents and young adults living with autism spectrum disorder. 

 

This activity has been submitted to the Ohio Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. 

The Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91) is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing 

education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
