Ursuline College’s Florence O’Donnell Wasmer Gallery Presents:
Katie Holzheimer ’75: Impressions
Exhibit: Friday, February, 7 to Friday, April 4
Opening Reception: February 7, 5-9 PM

An Ursuline graduate, Holzheimer creates art that brings peace, contentment, balance and enjoyment to the viewer. Also an internationally renowned interior designer for Holzheimer Interiors, Inc., she creates unique paintings using acrylic paints and brushless paint techniques. Her works have been displayed in juried art shows in galleries throughout the country. Kathryn not only creates art, but she also teaches art and brushless painting techniques and will be holding the following workshops at Ursuline’s Florence O’Donnell Wasmer Gallery.

Brushless painting techniques workshop is a creative and fun way to paint in acrylics with everything and anything other than the traditional artist brush. Get messy and have fun using sticks, sponges, brushes and other tools to create wonderful dimension and texture in your art. Please wear old clothes and bring a smock.

How to Paint without knowing how to draw workshop is working with acrylic paints using unconventional methods in developing composition, texture and color in a painting without having to draw one line. Have fun and feel free to express yourself in this fun workshop. Please wear old clothes and bring a smock.
