Faithfully Feminist book signing

August 15, 2015
Location: Barnes & Noble Eton

Join Ursuline College for a book signing by Dr. Gina Messina-Dysert, dean of Graduate and Professional Studies, and Dr. Elizabeth Meacham, Professor of Religion and Philosophy, for the new book Faithfully Feminist: Jewish, Christian, and Muslim Feminists on Why We Stay. Messina-Dysert is co-editor of the volume and both Meacham and Messina-Dysert offer essays in what has been called “Chicken Soup for the Soul meets Feminists of Faith.”

The book features stories from 45 women who balance a feminist and reli- gious identity and explores the question “why do you stay?” Their stories are witty, honest and beautiful and Faithfully Feminist is already garner- ing advance praise. Mayim Bialik, Emmy nominated actress from “The Big Bang Theory” and Sr. Simone Campbell of “Nuns on the Bus” are among the notable feminists who have endorsed this noteworthy volume.

The signing is at the Barnes & Noble at Eton on Chagrin Boulevard on August 15 from 2 - 4 pm.
