Tuesday, July 1 & Wednesday, July 2, 2014

The college application process is exciting, but new to you! Let us help you highlight your best qualities and teach you how to be an attractive admission candidate. We want you to feel prepared, confident, and excited when applying to college, so we have designed a unique and comprehensive two-day program with YOUR needs and questions in mind! Learn what it takes to WOW college admission officers by receiving personalized attention from Ursuline’s application review committee, master the ACT/SAT with the help of a professional test prep coach, walk away with an impressive draft of your personal essay statement, add a line to your resume by participating in a community service project, engage in a variety of success workshops, and more! Staying overnight on campus is optional and free. Please indicate interest on registration form.

The program is free and all meals are included. Space is limited.
Admission Prep Schedule at a Glance:

Tuesday, July 1st
10 AM         Check in
10:30 AM    Welcome to College Address
11 AM         Anatomy of the Application Process, College Planning Timeline, and Important Dates
12 PM         Lunch
1-4 PM        Mastering the ACT and SAT
4:15-6 PM   Sessions Begin. Choose Three from the Following:
 * Finding the Right "Fit"     
 * Mastering the College Interview
 * Differences between HS and College  
 * Getting Yourself "College-Ready"
 * Personality Testing to Discover Career and Extracurricular Interests
 * The Hidden Treasure: Online Resources
 * Demystifying the Difference between the ACT and SAT 
 * Navigating College Websites     
 *How to Make the Most of College Fairs & Your College Visits

7 PM  Dinner and Social Event

Wednesday, July 2nd
7:30-8:30 AM    Breakfast
8 AM - Noon      Resume Builder: Cleveland Community Service Project (transportation provided) &
                        Essay Writing Workshop - How to Write a Winning College Application Essay
12 PM               Program Conclusion and Check Out
