Ursuline College Art Therapy and Counseling Department Teams with TriC to Present the 10th Annual Art Exhibit, Lecture and Workshop

The Ursuline College Art Therapy and Counseling Department will hold its 10th annual art exhibition, “Simplicity: Creating a Vision of Doing More with Less” Feb. 11 - Mar. 4, Cuyahoga Community College Gallery East 4250 Richmond Road, Highland Hills. Surrounding the exhibition are three events that focus on the healing capacity of the arts.

February 11 – Free Public Opening Art Exhibition Reception at Tri-C
Ursuline College invites the public to attend a free opening to the Simplicity: Creating a Vision of Doing More with Less art exhibition reception Feb. 11, 6pm – 9pm, Cuyahoga Community College Gallery East, 4250 Richmond Road, Highland Hills. 

February 11 – Free Community Lecture Features Katherine Gibson- at Tri-C
Katherine Gibson M.Ed., B.Ed. author of “Unclutter Your Life: Transforming Your Physical, Mental and Emotional Space” and “Pause: Putting the Brakes on a Runway Life” will appear at a free lecture at Cuyahoga Community College East Campus Theatre Lobby, 4250 Richmond Road, Highland Hills, Feb. 11 at 7pm. The lecture will explore how to remove the clutter in our lives. 

February 12 – Unclutter Your Life Workshop with Katherine Gibson at Ursuline College 
The Unclutter Your Life Workshop featuring Gibson, will be held Feb. 12, 9am – 1pm, Ursuline College, 2550 Lander Road, Pepper Pike. In this workshop, Gibson will help to examine our hurried culture and how to simplify our lives. She will touch upon both the mental and emotional clutter that surrounds a person’s life. Program cost is $35 and CEU credits are available. To RSVP or for more information, call 440 646 8139. 

Ursuline College’s Graduate Art Therapy and Counseling program’s mission is to inform the Cleveland community about the healing capacity of the arts. One of the first programs of its kind in the country and the only program in Ohio, it combines the fields of art, counseling and psychology. Graduates of this program work in a variety of clinical, educational and human service settings.
