Volunteer Day: Daffodil Planting + Food Drive

October 01, 2016
Location: Throughout Pepper Pike

In a colorful gesture of thanks to our community, Ursuline College community members will plant 5,000 daffodil bulbs in the traffic circle at the convergence of Lander Road and Fairmount and Gates Mills boulevards on Saturday, Oct. 1. Meanwhile, student-athletes will go door to door on Pepper Pike side streets collecting canned goods for the Community Partnership on Aging.
If you live on a Pepper Pike side street, please put nonperishable food items in a plastic bag next to your mailbox by 10am on Saturday, October 1. Because of heavy traffic, students will NOT make pickups on Lander and South Woodland roads and Gates Mills, Fairmount and Chagrin boulevards. Residents of these streets are invited to drop off their food contributions at the main entrance of Ursuline College on Lander Road. Questions? Want to volunteer? Call Dr. Patrick J. Riley at 440 684 6022.
