Constitution Day Law Lecture: I'll Lend you my Copy

September 15, 2016
Location: Bishop Pilla Learning Center, Ursuline College

Constitution Day commemorates the September 17, 1787 signing of the most influential document in American history. Join us at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15, to hear CNN Legal Analyst and Ursuline College Distinguished Visiting Professor of Constitutional Law Avery Friedman give a non-partisan perspective on the Constitution that you’ve never heard before.

As part of this event, we will also recognize Sabrina Mitchell, this year’s student recipient of the Avery Friedman Human Rights Scholarship. Dessert reception to follow.

The Avery Friedman Human Rights Scholarship was founded at Ursuline to promote the advancement of human rights. The scholarship is given each year to a Legal Studies student who has exemplified qualities consistent with the mission of Ursuline College and the advancement of human rights.
