Teresa Barber is a professional executive specializing in project management, healthcare operations, information technology, and leadership development. As Vice President of Support Services and Chief Information Officer at Southwest General Hospital, she successfully oversaw the hospital’s comprehensive, integrated Electronic Medical Record project and was named 2013 CIO of the Year by Crain’s Cleveland Business. As an executive sponsor and project manager, she successfully oversaw a $122 million-dollar hospital expansion project that included a new emergency department, critical care unit, and bed tower. Ms. Barber completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Bowling Green State University, and a Master of Education degree at Cleveland State University. She is a certified professional in health information and management systems (C.P.H.I.M.S.), and a certified professional project manager (P.M.P.).
