Dr. Joseph Weber is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in emergency medicine and behavioral health. His extensive educational background includes two Master's degrees (MPAS and MBA) and a Doctorate of Health Sciences (DHSc).
For several years, Dr. Weber has dedicated himself to graduate education. He started his career in PA education as part of the faculty at Lock Haven University’s Physician Assistant Program. Furthermore, he established the Physician Assistant Programs at both Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio, and Presbyterian College, in Clinton, South Carolina.
His contributions to academia have been recognized with accolades such as the Teaching Excellence Award from Lakeland Community College in 2012. Moreover, in 2016, he was honored with an induction into the Lakeland Community College Foundation Alumni Hall of Fame. Beyond his academic endeavors, Dr. Weber has volunteered by serving on various boards, including Lifeline Inc, The Lake County Free Clinic, and the Lake Hospital Foundation.
His expertise isn't limited to medicine alone; he boasts over 20 years of experience in business and financial management. Respected publications such as Business Week and Crain's have featured his insights. Before embracing the medical field, Dr. Weber had a successful 20-year stint as a computer engineer. God opened doors that led him to transition into medicine, opening a new chapter in his life.
Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor on the Adjunct Faculty for the Doctor of Medical Science program at A.T. Still University's School of Health Professions.
Dr. Weber’s hobbies include travel and hiking with his wife Jennifer as well as restoration of classic automobiles. His latest restorations have included a 1947 Chevy restomod hot rod as well as a 1981 Porsche 924.
