Can I renew my library books?


Click Your Library Record on the library homepage to access your Library account. Check your due dates and renew items online any time. Call the Circulation Desk (440-449-4202) if you need assistance.


Can I pay my library fine with a credit card?


Yes, but you MUST give the library a copy of your receipt! Please follow these steps to pay your fine online:

  1. Log in to MyUrsuline and click the "Students" tab.
  2. Click "Student Accounts" in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen.
  3. Under "Pay using CASHNet," click "Go to CASHNet."
  4. Select "Click here to make a payment."
  5. Enter the dollar amount.
  6. In the explanation box, type "library fine."
  7. Submit payment
  8. Forward your email receipt to circulation@ursuline.edu, or print a copy and hand it to a Library Circulation Desk staff member.



I don't have my student ID. How can I find my ID number so I can access online resources off campus?


Here are the steps for finding your ID# in My Ursuline

  1. Click on My Ursuline from the college web site
  2. Enter your Ursuline login name and password
  3. Click Personal Info (in parentheses right next to Logout)
  4. Under My Info, click the Biographical Info tab
  5. ID Number is listed under your name, address, and personal information.



How do I find a book in the library?


Use the Catalog or URsearch to find the call number and location for a book in the library. If you have trouble finding anything, please ask the Reference Librarian for assistance.


What do I do if the library doesn't have a book I need?


Use the OhioLINK button in the catalog or search the OhioLINK catalog directly. Click the green "Request" button and follow the prompts.The item will usuallybe delivered to Ursuline within a few days, and you will get an email when it's ready to pick up.


How can I find articles in the library?


Most of the library's journal and magazine subscriptions are online. To find an article, use the Databases on the library homepage and select the best resource for your discipline. Not sure which one to choose? Use URsearch to search them all at once!



What is URsearch?


Use this simple search box on our homepage to find books, e-books, articles, streaming video, and more!


Can I borrow a laptop?


You can check out a laptop to use on campus or in a library study room. We also have iPads and a variety of charging cords you can borrow.


Does the library have videos?


We subscribe to academic and professional streaming video collections wich are accessible 24x7 via Catalog or URsearch. The Media Center also has videos and other media in various formats. Although the primary function of the Media Center collection is to support the curriculum and its intended use is for the faculty, some DVDs can be checked out by students for use off-campus. The Media Center staff will be happy to help you.
