The Blood Drive and Noodles for Nurses
Summary of event: Every semester SNUC has an event called Noodles for Nurses, where we serve a pasta lunch for a very low price. You get pasta, a salad, a roll, a drink, and a dessert! It does not get any better than that and all for just $6 a plate (with a Metz reusable container it is only $5) ! Not a student? That is okay because anyone is welcome to come join us for a great lunch and great company down in the commuter lounge of the Mullen building. The blood drive is held in the lounge so no seating is available to eat lunch together.
Our Next Noodles for Nurses/Blood Drive will be held on: April 9, 2015
If you are wondering about how to participate in the blood drive, it is held on the same day that we have our Noodles for Nurses event in the commuter lounge of Mullen.
The blood drive held on January 22, 2015 allowed us to donate a total of 35 units of blood, which can potentially help a total of 103 people around our local hospitals. A great achievement for the SNUC members!
How to Register to donate blood: Walk-ins are welcome, but to avoid waiting in line appointments can be made online at http://www.redcross.org
