Preparing Tomorrow's Socially Conscious Leaders
Welcome to the MBA Program at Ursuline College! A primary goal of the MBA program at Ursuline is to prepare students to become socially conscious managers and leaders from an ethical, values-based perspective. Students gain both a practical knowledge of modern business, as well as an understanding of the social, ethical and human context in which business is conducted in a technology enhanced, global environment. The balance between business theory and the application of theory to solve complex business problems is a hallmark of this program, which was designed to be convenient and flexible for working professionals.
Building on Ursuline’s foundational heritage of providing a holistic, values-based education in the Catholic tradition, our MBA Program prepares tomorrow's leaders for the challenges and opportunities of the marketplace and emerging global economy. Working with our world-class faculty, students gain a strong sense of corporate citizenship, ethical decision-making, business maturity and global understanding of business and culture. This preparation is accomplished through educational experiences that emphasize communication skills, independent thinking, creative problem solving, and professional integrity from a business operating perspective.
The most distinguishing features of Ursuline’s concentration areas are the socially conscious approach and the integrated, cross-disciplinary design feature that focuses on the interrelationships across business areas. These features provide graduates of the program with a competitive career advantage in the field of leadership and management.
The evening MBA program is designed for the convenience and flexibility of working professionals. Each course is delivered in 8-week sessions and courses take place one day per week (Beginning Fall, 2015).
Courses are offered in three formats: ground, hybrid, and online.
The MBA Program is approved by the Ohio Board of Regents and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The program can be completed in two platforms:
