440 646 8374 firstname.lastname@example.orgSharon Zimmerman Wilson, MSSA, LISW-S, along with Dr. Kathleen Cooney, OSU, is one of the founding faculty of the Social Work Program at Ursuline College. As Co-Director of the Program and Field Education Director, she is responsible for the design and implementation of the Social Work Practice and Field Education courses. Professor Zimmerman Wilson has a master's degree in social work from Case Western Reserve University - School of Applied Social Sciences. She has seven years post-baccalaureate practice experience and approximately six years post-master's practice experience.
Professor Zimmerman Wilson has been licensed as a social worker in the State of Ohio since 1988 and received the Supervisory designation to her license in 2007. She has provided consultation, training, and clinical services to community agencies around such issues as domestic violence, professional boundaries, supervision, clinical engagement and assessment, program design and implementation, and strategic planning. She currently serves on the Council on Field Education (Council on Social Work Education -CSWE) and co-chairs the Field Education Track, reviewing all proposals submitted on field education for the CSWE Annual Program Meeting. Her scholarship focuses on effective field education models, ethical social work practice, and the development and use of professional supervision to improve service delivery and client outcomes.
